I absolutely love everyone's answers so far! Every single post (no exaggeration) made me smile. 🥰
What might I be like? I'm not sure. Seriously, i dont know. Happy for someone to suggest one and a reason why 😆.
(Am I digital scales because I can measure things analytically? Am I a general-purpose mixing spoon? Am I, like @ENKELI a freezer due to my preference for cold?)
I would wish I could be... ahh I cant find an image of it. And its soo hard to describe. (Actually, that DOES sound like me!).
Its like a mixing utensil (i use it to break up mince in the frypan lol), with 6 "arms" (spokes?) From the central handle that go out horizontally.
I bought one in Norway (or Denmark?) In the early 2010's as a useful souvenir.
I'd take a photo but I am not home. And I have no name for it to find one lol.
They are weird and no one really knows what its meant to be used for or how, but you still find it useful for something. 🤣 <-- i'm just a non-dcandinavian version, yeah??

This is such a thought provoking question - I love it!
The first one that came to mind is this gorgeous teapot in the shape of a turtle, who if you fill up too much dribbles tea 🤣 I don't use it often but love it to bits because it's loved, cute and I LOVE tea!

@0ddsidian I'd like to be a slow cooker.
Gets better as the day goes on!
Ends up yummy by dinner time.

Cooking Twine
Unassuming item, which gives mostly tiny improvement in niche settings (Like tying together chicken legs to roast)
But most people have no use for it

@Oaktree - My parents have a Thermomix. I would have picked muffin tray for you, because you're so warm but have so many facets ♥️
@TAB - I adore that description! It made me smile 😊
@SleeplessRaven - I haven't used an eggcup in probably a decade. Do you have any cute eggcups?
@Captain24 - I would also like to be a slotted spoon! I know I'm definitely not though. This is a bit outside the box, but I think you'd be a recipe book; likes some clarity, open to some adaptions and has a lot of goodness inside ♥️
@MissGremlin - Ah, the ol reliable kettle! I constantly forget that I've boiled the kettle, and if I DO remember that I've boiled it and have poured it into my favourite cup I then forget that I've done THAT step and I over-steep my tea!
@ccau_82 - I love how introspective and poetic your answer is!
@Lapis_Anteater - I reckon this is one of the more underrated tools. There's something comforting about a wooden spoon. Probably the fact that it's wooden haha
@Hquin - Great answer! I have three pairs of tongs. One is this super long pair that I think are meant to be for BBQ's, but I mostly use them to reach things that are deep in a high cupboard I can't reach or to turn off the smoke alarm when I accidently set it off.
@FearofUnknown - Very important; please describe what the perfectly cooked piece of toast looks like for you? How dark do we like our toast? 😂
@MatchaToad - Amazing! I have a tiny little rice cooker from Kmart that cooks just enough rice for two people. I think it's one of the best things I've purchased!
@avant-garde - The pyro made me laugh 🤣 I'm picking up what you're putting down. I really love the comment about the rolling pin and using up scraps to start again. Do you use fondant or bake often?
@ENKELI - If you're liking the cold, I can't imagine you're super keen on Summer? Especially in WA!
@AlwaysMyself - The only thing I could find that sounds like what you described is the image below, but that doesn't feel correct, and I use that one for spaghetti! For some reason I think you'd be a lovely patterned tea towel; reliable, supportive and ready to lend a hand, like to just hang out.
@TeaPositive - I need to look up this teapot! Do you have a favourite tea? How do you make your tea? Are we using milk? Any sugar? How long are we steeping the tea for?
@Shaz51 - This surprises me in no way. I absolutely knew you'd mention coffee. It was just a toss up between whether you'd pick a coffee pot or a cool mug to hold your coffee 😉
@Snowie - I once had someone pick the slow cooker answer because they said that they like that people would always be grateful for and happy to see them at the end of a long day. Seems appropriate for you ♥️
@DogMan79 - Such a creative answer! I use cooking twice for so many things. I sometimes use it in the garden to stake plants, and I've even used it in place of ribbon when wrapping presents before. Niche settings, but also super versatile.

I can do beautiful things with fondant and have the cake decorating colour spray thing
I love baking though and have made my own recipes in the past

Thanks @0ddsidian. That sounds great and positive. Just what I needed to hear at the moment.
Appreciate your thought on this

@0ddsidian ahhh see if I'm lucky that I remember that I've boiled the kettle and have gone as far as putting the water into my cup, I then forget I've made a coffee and it's gone cold by that time 😂
