I can see the attraction of both @AlwaysMyself 

I spent a term singing 7 languages in a day, 3 in one classical choir and 4 in the other, a community choir focussed on inclusion. I am only fluent in one language, lol, but have always loved different languages and cultures. Being a child whose mother didn’t speak great English, I also appreciate the pre verbal and body language as a skill. Working on it. lol. Still. I hung out at the zoo for 5 years so I also lean towards animals, but I don’t need them to have a language. I kinda like the Dr Dolittle approach. They express a great deal.

My granddaughter speaks fluent Japanese 🇯🇵 

My grandson speaks fluent Mandarin.

 no one knows where we live  but Public housing gifted us 2 apartments. So Mr Rocker has his own apartment and I have an apartment. 

where we live there is lots of vacant units. 

when we got married, I thought the public housing would take his home away but they didn’t. We still have 2 apartments. 

we were thinking the housing crisis is very hard atm. 

we could make 200 per week renting his apartment out for 3 months. We say 3 months because we are allowed to have friends live there for 3 months before they ask for extra rent. 
his apartment is very messy but it’s safe and I was crying that we cannot find someone safe to do this. 

it’s like a winge for the day.

@PeppyPatti  Peps it’s really hard to live in an apartment full of other people’s stuff.  I’ve done it.

It just reminds me that it isn’t permanent.

I’m so tired of short term accommodation.

I’m surprised shanty towns haven’t appeared in Gnangara Pine 🌲 Forest

@PeppyPatti  my granddaughter that speaks fluent Japanese is 15 years old.

My grandson that speaks fluent Mandarin is 13 years old.

They both play musical instruments.

in the community choir we sang an African, Chinese and 2 Burmese dialects, one for each verse of I am Australian. Dialects based on the people who were actually in the choir. It was in the day. At night I went across town and sang in French, German and Latin. We usually did big repertoire like Bach Oratorios. That time we were doing a range of composers. It was funny when I stopped and counted how many languages I was doing on a Wednesday. 

it was just after I stopped at the zoo with my lovely relationships with the gorillas and monkeys etc. COVID got in the way. Hmmm.

I guess I have always had a work ethic and social justice Bent even if I am on a pension. My normal was usually full time work and part time study or the reverse. I guess I need the stimulation now. lol. I keep busy, but also have rest days.
