@Gumtree anxiety does that even if your not feeling it, the lasting effect on your body will still remain there until your system calms down.
the best way i find to do that is to practice deep breathing, meditation or mindfullness

@Gumtree maybe try contacting a helpline and ask them to take you through something or
try this for me
breathe in notice how it fills your belly, hold for 3 breathe out and release that tension that you feel and keep continuing on until you feel calmer
deep breath in let it out slowly deep breath in slowly let it out
