My girl Kelly was a mad digger. One of my friends used to refer to her as the digging-est dog. She tried to cover my spa and no matter what I did she would remove the cover to play in the water. I asked someone who bred Border Collies what I should do and he said I had 2 choices, get rid of the dog or the spa. I did neither but got my brother to build a fence so that Kelly couldn't get into the spa area.
I was always amazed at my grandmother. She was going to teach me how to make a patchwork quilt but never got to do it before she passed away. She was good at all of those things, even cake decorating.
It's a lost art indeed.
My thermometer tells me it's 16 degrees and I am contemplating putting on boots. If I didn't have to go out I'd be in lounge pants and uggs!
