I'm jumping in with an icebreaker today, and I want to know: Who’s your favorite cartoon character and why? 

I'll go first, I think it'd have to be Uncle Iroh from Avatar the Last Airbender

He's wise, he's learned from his past and doesn't let him define who he is, he is ready to help others in need, and he loves a good cuppa!

I love Dora The Explorer because I am learning Spanish. Also she is curious about everything. Also she has a purple backpack and purple is my favourite colour.

I am a sucker for the old Looney Tunes cartoons. Although I don't have a specific cartoon character I adore, I am a huge fan of the voice actor that spent his career lending his unique voice to those characters, Mel Blanc.

Yes, lets give the voice actors some props @Lowrida29 it's interesting to see a bit of a shift towards hiring famous actors to voice cartoons more recently, when voice acting is a craft of its own! I think we lose a bit of magic when we give those roles to regular actors

I wish production studios could incentivise programs for training voice actors and dubbing artists.

Oh yes, I like Looney Tunes too @Lowrida29 . Taz was always my favourite as a child. I also like Wiley Cyote.

My favourite cartoon... I dont know really. I dont watch much tv/movies. But maybe I will go with Aggretsuko.

@Ru-bee uncle iroh is such a good one!! so many great characters in that show.

hmm this is hard, there's so many good ones but i'd say Donkey from Shrek is up there - he's funny, he's a good friend to Shrek, he tries to put a smile on everyone's face, etc.
