Re: Icebreakers time!

Fave meal here is gotchujang cauliflower bites

Re: Icebreakers time!

Cheese and tomato on toast with seeded mustard! @0ddsidian. I think seeded is more versatile. I love it spread over steak!

Re: Icebreakers time!

Honestly wish my Dad had introduced chilli to me earlier in my life @ArraDreaming, so I love that you're working on getting your kid used to it. I reckon it would have made me like spice way more today. Dad's a massive chilli fan too. I tried growing some chillis a couple of years ago so that I could make him a chilli sauce for a gift. Didn't quite work out (definitely neglected the plant).

Gotchujang cauliflower bites?! Dude that sounds epic! Potentially should have added gotchujang to the sauce list because it's so underrated (in Australia).

Re: Icebreakers time!

Sounds delicious @Captain24. Do you have bread or cheese preferences. Low-key considered making a cheese thread haha Definitely hungry now, even though I just had some crumpets with Biscoff spread just before. I'm convinced there are different stomachs for sweet and savoury foods, coz I can always go for dessert after a meal, even if I'm "full".

Re: Icebreakers time!

I also have a 4, 2 and 9 wk old so eventually I will build up there tolernece too @0ddsidian mate our 4 yo won’t even eat chilli chicken tenders without crying saying I think im allergic so idk

gotchujang paste  is a staple in any chilli loving household

we also grow our own too!! just not any right now

Re: Icebreakers time!

I only eat white bread @0ddsidian. I don’t like the texture of seeded breads. For these I’m using the grated pizza melt cheese. I have cheese slices to have with lunch at work. Chicken schnitzel rolls with seeded mustard and cheese!

I can usually find room for dessert to if I have anything to have for dessert.

Re: Icebreakers time!

Love your plan, @ArraDreaming 😊 I reckon a slow introduction is always best with anything. I think my parents started with the Masterfoods sweet chilli sauce with me. It barely had any kick to it. Maybe a really bland sweet chilli aioli could also work as a starting point.

It SHOULD be a staple in any chilli loving household. Only just introduced it to my Dad this year. He's hooked now. I'm taking the credit haha

What varieties do you grow, or do you prefer to grow? I can't remember exactly what I tried to grow a few years ago, but I remember them being a Mexican variety.

Re: Icebreakers time!

@0ddsidian Habernero and

Ghost chilli’s

Re: Icebreakers time!

I definitely also prefer white bread @Captain24. Unsure whether I consider fancier breads like sourdough and stuff as "white bread", but I guess they could be included in the category... maybe. Sometimes I just want that standard white bread, ya know? 😊

Pizza melt cheese is definitely elite. I use it for almost all cheese needs. That chicken schnitty combo is divine and I'm so into it!

Honestly, I'll eat a spoonful of crunchy Biscoff spread and be a happy camper 😅

@0ddsidian

I didn't get a notification or an email for the tag...

Not again...

Ok, condiment, does greek yoghurt count? I'm not allergic to that
