Re: Icebreakers time!!!

Oooh I LOVE this!!

@0ddsidian @MissGremlin @Captain24 @avant-garde @Shaz51 and anyone else floating by ~

I reckon I'd be an air fryer!

Loud, to the point some think is obnoxious, but I make a lotta tasty stuff super fast; not everyone ‘gets’ me – many see me from afar and think ‘What’s the point, it’s just an oven, but louder and taking up bench space’ but those who take me in see how awesome I am, how crispy my chips get, how versatile I can be - and they hold on forever (and may not shut up about me hehehe) 😉

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

I tried to hit the support button on that @Jynx but it won’t let me support anything at all.

But I do love it!

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

ohhhh I totally love that @Jynx 😎😍

see mine , either a coffee kettle or a coffee mug like @0ddsidian said 😁

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

@0ddsidian I found a pic today! Hurray!

I like your idea of a tea towel. I'd have to be one with a weird or funny image though that people don't quite expect haha.

@Jynx we can be weird together 😂. I like my air-fryer. it is quicker than my oven! and more energy efficient maybe because it doesn't have to heat as big a space?

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

@0ddsidian

I used to have a little dinosaur eggcup when i was growing up - our fam was very much into our toast soldiers and dippy eggs haha

I don’t think I’ve owned one since childhood though - this made me want to go out and get one haha

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

@0ddsidian yes you are quite correct. I detest the heat!

I am only in Perth because my 82 year old mum is a 15 minute drive from me. Once she's gone I am thinking I might retire to somewhere cooler. Like Antarctica! 🐧😁

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

Aww ty @Captain24

Hehe yay @AlwaysMyself air fryers are so good hey! Cold chips are a curse no longer lol

Also that utensil looks incredibly useful!! Did you find out what it's called? Like a masher but... starry! Haha

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

@Jynx @ It seems people (or stores) here call it a "hackit" and describe its use as mashing and chopping.

Star-shaped is the word i was looking for to describe the bottom part - thank you!

Re: Icebreakers time!!!

Hi @0ddsidian definitely look up teapot turtle, it is a duller green colour and it is glazed. Tea... I start with a basic loose leaf tea in the morning that would be akin to an English/Irish Breakfast, two scoops brewed for four minutes, no sugar and enough milk to resemble the colour of a Digestive biscuit.

Ice Breakers Tiiiiiime!!

Hiya folks!! Time for another Ice Breaker!! Teehee 😉

Personally I pick D - fried rice, sweet n sour pork, Laksa, curries both Thai and Indian, Peking duck, and a tiny sliver of Greek and Italian cuisine!! Yummmmmm 🤤

Also feel free to share your 'worst pick' too - for me it would be A! The English.... don't make great food 🤣 And I think Greenland is probably all pickled herring or something, blech!

How about you?
