oohhh I just found a new podcast which is great for distraction! It's called "Ologies"

It's presented by a HILARIOUS person who interviews people with really niche areas of studies.

I just listened to an episode on mountain goats which I thought I would NOT be interested. But who new they were so interesting!! The host interviews experts who are also very charismatic, funny and knowledgeable. 

I highly recommend it! @hanami @Paperdaisy @BPDSurvivor @Appleblossom @Clawde

Hmmm I've not found any good new ones lately. I'll have to have a browse. 

Another one I love is Background Briefing where they do an investigation on a particular current issue. The latest one is about teenagers who get caught up in organised crime that's based in Sydney. Intense but really interesting.

@TuxedoCat  podcast  “Do You F***ing Mind” Alexis Fernandez. Neurobiology, always starts with a Brain Fact, for example Joy Milne, the woman who can smell Parkinson’s disease.
It is a little bit sweary.

A storytelling and folklore podcast. Telling some of the famous and not so famous British and Irish myths, legends and folktales, in no particular order. Coming direct from South Yorkshire it is currently regularish, and will feature all of the above and whatever other miscellaneous snippets take my fancy. Presented by Graeme Cooke.

Graeme is the best bard I have ever heard.

The Infinite Monkey Cage is a BBC Radio 4 comedy and popular science series. Hosted by physicist Brian Cox and comedian Robin Ince, who does excellent impressions.

The Independent described podcast as a "witty and irreverent look at the world according to science".
