Squeaker my Cockatiel died last night.

He was my only (semi) tame bird, in many years.

He would call to greet me, to get me to pay him some attention.

Squeaker loved looking at faces (my face) - he would follow my eyes, as he walked along the perch.

I will miss him terribly....

Oh no @Adge , poor Squeaker 😢  Of cause you'll miss him. Walking with you... Very sad. I don't handle loss we'll, what can we do...

This lovely little girl (St Helena Waxbill finch) was on her own in the shop.

I just had to bring her home, for company.

She doesn't have a mate - she will be happy with my gentle Bengalese finches & Canaries.

Plus this lovely Orang/Brown Canary dude -

He will be happy with my other Canaries...
