Your desk top looks lovley and so smooth! @CheerBear are you planning on leaving it the lighter stain or going to go darker in colour?

Thanks @outlander. It's been so much fun to make! I was planning on going really dark (like coffee colour) but I stopped here as the grain and patterns show so nicely through this stain, plus it is more natural looking like this I think. I usually go dark furniture but it is going in my bedroom and I guess brighter might, ya know, brighten it up a bit 😆😜 I am looking forward to glossing it up with the varnish then getting it home. It's so big I need to take the frame in two pieces then assemble it in my room!

Better go for good now. The morning is getting away from me!

Are you ready for the plumber Maggie? I understand the nerves and am really hoping it's fixed quickly and easily.

Yesterday was OK thanks. I had a pretty good work day and a nice time with sib. The virus stuff is hitting me hard. It doesn't feel OK in lots of ways.

What time is plumber coming? Any plans around that?
