Looking after ourselves

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

SNAP @Zoe7

It's a hot weekend forecast here @Zoe7 with temps over 30. I'm not a fan of the heat and if I keep my unit closed up its much cooler inside.

Well I'm not sure about you but I'm starting to fade. It's so nice though talking to you like this. I feel like I'm sitting beside or opposite having a cuppa and chat. Take care of yourself sweetie 💕💕♥️♥️

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

hows your day been? @Sans911 💜💜💜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Not too bad @outlander. I was supposed to be away on a volunteer retreat this weekend which is held once every year. I really needed to get stuck into my assignment so I decided to stay home. Mum was going to house sit for my aunty but where they live in the Hills is very difficult to get to on the weekend. So I lent her my car. I barely got started on my introduction and the manager from the op shop rang and texted me (I didn't answer the call). A number of volunteer staff had cancelled their shifts today so she was really stuck. I had to get 2 buses to get there. I didn't really want to go but she's a decent person. Just finishing my dinner now but I'll need to do some assignment tonight.

How's your day been and how are you?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

lucky you were available to do the op shop shift @Sans911 bit of a pain having to catch 2 buses though to get there though.

hopefully youll be able to get some study done tonight. what module are you studying atm? is this one better then the last one?

My days been abit busy. had some family members pop in throughout the day. one of pops good mates (and his wife) are suppose to be coming over tomorrow but he may come through the week. he lives in another state and is staying up this way for a few days and wants to catch up at some point.
besides some family visits the days mostly been housework that I really needed to catch up on and the horses. pop has been extra difficult tonight and when family haven't been around so its been abit draining in that area.

Do you have much that you need to do tomorrow?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Just study tommorow @outlander is about all I need to do. I'm studying mh assessment atm, and my assignment is about PTSD. The module is OK. I have the will to study but my motivation is almost non existent. If I could sleep all day everyday I would.

How's your mouth feeling now? And how was your specialist app yesterday.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing
