Close to burn out

So much on my mind

I have this interview tomorrow and I've spent WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too long on it

I have more to do but i wanted to watch last stage of cycling tonight

I am always concerned that my partner is lying to me - which is a sign of paranoia and anxiety. I don't wanna say anything to her about it because i don't want to hurt her. She has had a tough life. But I also hate this feeling that I've been taken for a ride.

Tomorrow I want to sleep in because I will watch the cycling, but I also need to do exercise. But also I need to make sure I'm giving myself time for interview stuff.... but also this... but also that.... you get the picture

I'm in a heightened anxious state.

I'm hating it

Hi @Flying_Hams

I don't have many great words to offer, but I do offer my support.

My two cents - watch the cycling. It might take your mind off things for a while at least 🙂

All the best with all of it

Re: Close to burn out

Hi Hams,

Be kind to yourself. I can relate to feelings of burnout and being taken for a ride.

It's easy being caught up in the negatives. What brings you joy? cycling?

Find the joy in your day and be present in it. Just for a bit!

Re: Close to burn out

Sounds like you are juggling with a mix of emotions tonight @Flying_Hams .

Do things one at a time - thoughtfully and mindfully.

As with speaking to your partner, it's good to be transparent (if you're ready for it). We don't want the thoughts brewing in your mind until you explode. That's not healthy. There ARE gentle ways of tackling with it. You have been mindful of her 'tough' life. Perhaps she will need to be mindful of your insecurities at this time.

Thoughts?

Re: Close to burn out

We've shared a lot @tyme
I think I'm just being paranoid
She had a horrible experience last week where her mum told her "don't come to my funeral" and it broke her.
I mean these are her words. I'm not 100%
But anyway. I think it is a thing that I can just watch. Time tells. It's still quite soon

Just really over bs when it comes to dating culture. I mean she agrees too. So that's good.

Also too in another note I feel like a coffee shop I go to - they don't like me. It may be paranoia

I can't sleep properly lately either

Re: Close to burn out

Am ok thanks @Flying_Hams

Re: Close to burn out

Oh @Flying_Hams

That sounds like my head at times! It can get real messy in there and it's really really hard to quieten things down

How are you feeling today?

Hope things are somewhat calmer.
